Beginners
$45$55
Half-distance runs, the same eight stations.
Solo
$59$69
One athlete, the full course.
Doubles
$99$119
Per team. You and a partner split the stations.

Licensed to coach the format, by people who race it.
Measured, not estimated
The run legs are a surveyed course, so your time is comparable.
Judged and timed
Seeded waves, judges on every station, one result on the board.
The format
8km.
8 stations.
1 result.
Run. Through the roxzone. Hit a station. Back through the roxzone. Eight times, with the clock running the whole way. That is roughly 700m of transitions on top of the running, which is exactly where most people quietly lose their race.

Doubles
Racing
doubles?
Test your partnership before race day.

- 03 //Can you actually hold your planned pace together?
- 04 //What happens to the plan when you are both cooked?
Better to find out on 11 Oct than for the first time on race day. A doubles team is one entry: you and your partner run together, share the stations and pay once.

division.
These are early bird prices. They hold until 11:59pm Sun 27 Sep, then every division goes up automatically. Nothing to claim and no code to enter, the price you see is the price you pay. Only 72 entries in total. Pro divisions are the same price as Open.

Two questions and we will tell you.

Racing on your own or with someone?
You do not need to be a KVZ member to enter. Members just pay less. And if you want to race doubles but have not sorted a partner, message us before you enter and we will talk it through.

On the day
In, raced,
done by lunch.
2 entries start every 5 minutes, seeded on your estimated finish time so you are running with people at your pace.
Measured and verified
The full race distance on a course we have measured, not estimated. Your time here means something when you line up at a real race.
Run like a race
Seeded waves, judges, a marked roxzone, an MC and a finish line. Not a workout with a stopwatch.
A time that sticks
Your result is saved to your KVZ profile, so the next sim is measured against this one. Improvement you can see.
Bring your people
Spectators are free and welcome all morning. It doubles as our open day, so there is plenty to watch.

Most athletes are finished and heading off well before noon. Your wave time is set once entries close.
If you wait for a station, you get the time back. Stations are shared, so a short wait is possible at peak times. Anything over 60 seconds is recorded by the judge and taken off your official time. Your result reflects your racing, not your queueing.
This schedule is provisional. Wave times are set once entries close and sent to you a few days before the race.
What your entry includes
- Your race number, wave and a judged, timed run of the full course.
- A marked roxzone between every run and station, so it runs like the real thing rather than a workout with a stopwatch.
- Your finish time saved to a KVZ profile, so the next one is measured against it.
- Free entry for your supporters, all morning.
- Not a member? Seven days of classes come with your entry, to use any time up to three weeks after race day. Long enough to actually see whether you like training here.

Racing for
real soon?
Do not wait until race day to find out.
Road to Hyrox is our coached 10-week build into the December season. Race Ready includes your entry to this sim, so the sim becomes your early checkpoint rather than a separate thing to pay for.

Questions
The stuff people ask.
Do I need to be a KVZ member?
No. Anyone can enter. Members get a lower entry price, and non-members get 7 days of classes with us included in their entry. Use them whenever suits, before the race to prepare or afterwards once you have recovered. The pass runs until three weeks after race day, which is long enough to actually see whether you like training here.
I have never raced this format. Can I still do it?
Yes, and the Beginners division is built exactly for you. Half-distance runs, the same eight stations, the lighter weights. If you would rather share the load, doubles is the other easy way in: you and a partner split the stations and run together.
What is the Pro division?
Heavier on every station that has a weight: the sled push goes from 152kg to 202kg, the pull from 103kg to 153kg, and the wall ball from 6kg to 9kg. Same distance, same eight stations, same price as Open. Enter it only if you have raced these weights before, because a sled you cannot move holds up the lane behind you.
Why is Women's Pro on the heavy weights and not the Pro weights?
Because that is the Hyrox standard. Women's Pro and Men's Open lift exactly the same. It looks like a mistake on the page and it is not.
Mixed doubles wall balls: what height?
Both partners use the 6kg ball. Men throw to 10 feet, women to 9 feet. Same as the real thing.
Is there a roxzone?
Yes. Every run leg starts and finishes in a marked roxzone, the transition area between the track and the stations, and your clock keeps running through it. It is where most people quietly lose a few minutes on race day, so you get to practise it here instead of finding out in Melbourne.
What is a doubles entry?
Two athletes, one entry, one lane. You run together and share the stations. You pay once per team, not per person.
What do I bring?
Training gear, your own shoes, a water bottle and a towel. We have everything else. There is a shower on site.
Can I bring supporters?
Please do. Spectators are free and there is no need to register them. The morning doubles as our open day with stalls and coffee.
When do I find out my start time?
Waves are seeded on your estimated finish time and published a few days before the race, once entries close on 7 Oct. That is how the big events do it too, and it is the only way to build a schedule that actually runs on time.
Is there parking?
Yes, on site and on the surrounding streets. Get there early, check in opens well before the first wave.
What if it rains?
We race. Part of the course is outdoors, so dress for the weather. We would only cancel for genuinely unsafe conditions, and if we do you choose a full refund or a credit to the next sim.
What if I enter and then cannot make it?
More than 14 days out, you get a full refund. Inside 14 days you can transfer your entry to someone else or take a credit toward the next sim. Inside 7 days entries are non-refundable, because the place has been held for you and someone else has been turned away. The full terms are linked below.
Not racing but want to be there? We need judges, check-in, timing and a few people on setup. Put your hand up here. No experience needed, we brief everyone on the morning.
Run a business and want a stall, or to put up a prize? Have a word with us. The open day is on at the same time, so it is a busy morning.
Full event terms, including entry, refunds, transfers and the cancellation policy, are in the Race Sim Terms. Every athlete signs a waiver as part of entering.

Training can
hide the gaps.
Racing finds them.
Full distance. Eight stations. Solo and doubles. Limited spots by division.

KVZ Performance Pty Ltd is an official HYROX Training Club. KVZ Race Sim is our own event, not a HYROX-sanctioned race, so a result here is not an official HYROX result and does not qualify you for anything at a HYROX event.
